Class 2F to 4L Time Saver Course

This course has been designed for drivers aged 25 years or older who wish to progress through heavy licence classes without waiting the required three months of driving experience. 

This course will allow the driver to eliminate the waiting period between NZ Class 2 Full Licence and NZ Class 4 Learner Licence.

You must hold a minimum of  Class 2 Full New Zealand drivers licence.

To be eligable to participate in this course the candidate must meet the following criteria:

1. You must hold a current Class 2 Full Licence New Zealand drivers licence.
2. Complete a minimum of seven Logbook entries over a 7 days period. These entries can include: driving, days off, working in the office, working in the warehouse etc.
3. Complete a minimum of 1,000 km of unsupervised driving in a Class 2 vehicle, which can be driven over any of the 7 days providing all of the aspects of the work time & logbook rule are followed and the driver's logbook is signed of by a verifier. 
4. Complete a Multi Choice test on Heavy Rigid Vehicle dynamics. 
5. Complete a Multi Choice test on Fatigue. 
6. Complete a Multi Choice test on Load Security.

7 WORKING DAYS prior to course start date:  No Cancellation Fee / FULL REFUND if pre-paid

3-6 WORKING DAYS prior to course start date:  50% Cancellation Fee / REFUND if pre-paid

2 WORKING DAYS prior to course start date: 100% Cancellation Fee / NO REFUND if pre-paid

PRACTICAL TRAINING CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY: 

Less than 24 hour notice results in a fee of $195.00 plus GST per cancelled/rescheduled drive.
